Country Song Lyrics Walking Home

Looking for an older female country song, sung by one.?
I can not remember any of the articles exactly or I was just looking this way. This has been driving me crazy for years! I only know that a woman was singing the song and the man went into the bedroom when he came home from work and switched the light on and saw his wife with another guy and then he turned the light off again and the texts they were back and forth. She said as she approached his daughter and his son and he said, as he always supported it ….. I can not remember, and it makes me crazy.
Oh my goodness thank you very much so! You are great! I do not know why I thought it was a singer …… But it was a long, long time I heard it, so I must've just is wrong. Again, many Thanks!
This is the only song I could think of something fits your description. The only difference is that is done by Sawyer Brown. This is the only Version which I know I hope this helps "All These Years" She loves adventure with security and more than one man can deliver planned adventure feeling sure that he is not to be home 'till after five He turned on the light and turned away again and said the only thing he could say years ago, where I have all these good hard I also rode to work on and get back home and I'm still here until I'm gone do not rub it, that I have been wrong all these years, she said, "You 're not the man you used to be said, "He:" Neither is this guy "She said:" There are some things you refuse to see, but I guess I can "She made no excuse why she was there she said a son, what she could say All these years What have I done I have your supper can and your daughter and your I Still And here I am, but still confused, I finally see how much I lose, to lose All these years I'm still here and so confused but I can finally see how much I am all these years

| | In Country $13.64 In the summer of 1984, the war in Vietnam comes home to Sam Hughes, whose father was killed there before she was born: The soldier-boy in the picture never changed. In a way that made him dependable. But he seemed so innocent. “Astronauts have been to the moon,” she blurted out to the picture. “You missed Watergate. I was in the second grade.” She stared at the picture, squinting her eyes, as if she expected it to come to life. But Dwayne had died with his secrets. Emmett was walking around with his. Anyone who survived Vietnam seemed to regard it as something personal and embarrassing. Granddad had said they were embarrassed that they lost the war, but Emmett said they were embarrassed that they were still alive. “I guess you're not embarrassed,” she said to the picture. |
| | Song Finder $8.48 An index to the contents of 621 song books published between 1854 and 1992 and acquired by the State Library of Louisiana, Song Finder provides access to 32,000 songs, with emphasis on collections of theater songs, folk songs, children’s songs, religious music, rock, country, and pop music "standards." Also well represented are African-American music, movie and television theme songs, seasonal music, patriotic songs, military music, and songs of foreign lands. Three-fourths of the song books have never been indexed, and 85 percent are not included in any index currently in print. A third of the individual songs have never been indexed before. Songs can be located in Song Finder by title only. Under each title are letter symbols representing song books which include the song. Bibliographical information on the song books can be found in the first section of the book, the list of collections indexed, which also provides OCLC numbers to facilitate interlibrary loan. For each printing of a song, Song Finder notes whether the book provides music only, words only, or both words and music. The index also identifies lyrics in a foreign language and whether there is an English translation. Other indexes do not offer this kind of detail, which allows users to find the version of a song that is suitable to their needs. Also helpful to the user are cross references which link alternate titles and compensate for variant and nonstandard spellings. Users uncertain of the title of an advertising jingle, or the theme song of a film or television show, will find cross references from the name of the product or show to the correct song title. |
